The sculptor’s famous work, The Thinker, has become such a cultural icon in the west that it’s not uncommon to come across statuettes in schools everywhere. Your university’s philosophy department had one, right? I love the idea of couples tying the not in the shadow of the original large-cast version of the famous work. Only in Paris can such a beautiful object be simply a part of everyday life.
